I would love to see some more cafes (with music) in our town! Hopefully within the next few years it will start to happen. A lot of great things have changed over the past few years, here’s to more great change!! :)

My kids have told me that Farmingville has a reputation for drug use/drug dealers. This is truly upsetting to me and I’m sure any parent! How can we get drug dealers out of our town?

      Ronnie-

Luckily, it isn’t worse here than surrounding towns, the 6th pct. has recently informed us, but please feel free to join us Sept. 20th at 7P at the Fire Dept. in town for our meeting- the police will be there, and you can address any concerns regarding this. Thanks for the input!!!

I’d like to see a coffee house akin to the type from the last 50′s and 60′s where people could gather in a relaxed atmosphere to hear local musicians, poetry readings, and hold discussion groups – as well as enjoying a good cup of coffee. Outdoor seating would be very welcome bonus.

  7. Terrific review! This is truly the type of article that needs to be shared around the internet. Shame on the Bing for not ranking this blog post higher!

I am very concerned about all of the robberies and break-ins that have been occuring especially in my neighborhood. ( I have had things stolen as well) I just learned about the Farmingville Residence Assoc. and will attend the Oct. meeting. I am upset I missed the Sept. mg. I think the police dept. were there. There have been vans and cars seen at Bus Stops taking pics of kids and posing as under cover police! This is scary! As a town, there should be letters, phone calls, notifications to ALL residence, not just those with children, informing everyone what is happening. The Police, town, and School District should all be working together to stop this crime. It is getting out of hand! What can we do before it is too late?
